Laboratory technician cell culture

As a laboratory technician you will work at an international company that operates in the pharmaceutical field. Your main responsibility is the culturing of cells in a cleanroom environment. You specialize in the culturing of a range of mammalian cells. As you directly provide to the production of medicines, you will be working under strict guidelines. Furthermore, you are responsible for the documentation of your work under GMP guidelines. You also play a part in writing protocols whenever new cell types are being cultured.

For this position we are looking for laboratory professionals with the following background and experience:

• A completed MLO or HLO education (secondary vocational education or higher professional education) in life sciences, biology, biotechnology or similar
• Internship- or work experience with cell culturing, especially with human or mammalian cells
• Experience with precise and sterile work
• Experience with working in a cleanroom is a plus
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Currently living in the Netherlands or concrete plans to move to the Netherlands
• In possession of a valid permit for working in the Netherlands
