What are your responsibilities?

You will work in different project groups to develop, test and optimize different sorts of biological pharmaceutical products. The main objective of this department is to optimise the product and maximise its efficiency. A large part of your work and responsibilities are executing and developing several biochemical and immunological assay's such as ELISA. You will also perform tests with several other analytical techniques such as spectroscopy and qPCR. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing laboratory equipment and stocks and keep SOP's up-to-date. With your knowledge and experience in the field of immunology and biochemistry you will actively contribute in these R&D projects.

This is a fulltime position for, preferably, 40 hours per week. However, if you are available for 32 hours per week you are also more than welcome to apply.

What do we look for in a Research Technician (ELISA, PCR)?

This position suits someone with the following background really well;

  • HLO, BSc in the field of Biotechnology, Pharmacy or comparable
  • Working experience with techniques such as ELISA, qPCR or comparable
  • Experience in working in project groups in a scientific environment is preferable
  • You have an social and open personality and can co-operate easily with other departments.

Salary and benefits Research Technician (ELISA, PCR)

You can expect the following salary and benefits:

  • Permanent position, starting on a temporary contract
  • Fulltime position of 40 hours per week
  • Start date is preferably as soon as possible
  • Monthly salary; €3000 - €4000 gross, based on fulltime
