What are your responsibilities?
This high-tech international biotech company develops new therapies used to treat life threatening diseases. For their development department they are looking for an experienced research technician for the role of senior research technician. Within the laboratory you work with cell culture, ELISA, qPCR and other molecular techniques. In this position you develop analytical methods for qPCR, ELISA and cell based assays to analyse the new therapies.
Furthermore you are first point of contact for (research) technicians within the department and are responsible for supervising interns, overviewing quality on the laboratory and troubleshooting.
For this position a working permit for the Netherlands and a minimum of 3 years work experience is required.
What do we look for in a Senior Research Technician Biotechnology?
For this position we are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- A finished MSc studies within biotechnology, life sciences, biomedical sciences, biopharmaceutical sciences or similar.
- At least 3 years of work experience with cell culture, cell based assays, ELISA and qPCR
- Experience with GMP is preferable.
- An enthusiastic and sociable team player
- A PhD background will not be considered for this position.
